Here is a nice early Large Carl Eickhorn .Mfg... I have only owned one other some years ago Very Very rare maker Logo mark.. This is the earliest Carl Eickhorn mfg. logo being largest Logo . When they decided to use for E. Rohm dedications or Himmler dedication inscriptions they reduced its size so it does not take away from the SS daggers Inscription. Bench marked with a "0" stamped on the lower cross guard near blades entry. Nice clean blade that is realy nice,,Grips are made of ebony .. Carl Eickhorn did not make the best grip and being ebony often would crack or chip easy ,,This one has a few cracks as pictures show. If any further photos are needed just inquire .

Rare SS Sturm 5/78 Blade Dedication Early SS Boker Mfg. Dagger

Wow...This is a very cool SS dagger for the person that likes history with one. Researching this early SS unit might determine his war history based on the loctions etc. he fought or served . Research needs to be done. This dagger was originally purchased from a veterans estate auction and purchased by the person we bought it from. This SS dagger does have a chip in the upper rear top grip area that is present but not a big deal . The top grip mount is more of a plated type and was a war time replacment from a damaged one no question during the war years. The daggers tang nut was never turned and has been as you see it since its recovery and brought home at the wars end. The blade could be cleaned up a good bit but I decided to leave it for the next person to decide. I have added a nice salty looking SS marked vertical hanger with belt loop to it . Dedication above SS motto reads ( FUR BESONDERE LEISTUNG SS STURM 5/78. ). Translation (. For Oustanding Performance/Achievement in the SS 5/78 ) I owned a M-1936 Chained SS some years ago that had similar on its blade also.. Very cool piece as bought from the US vets estate auction and as brought back .
