Civil War Confederate C.S.A 1863 Dated Fayetteville, NC Musket

Civil War Confederate C.S.A 1863 Dated Fayetteville, NC Musket. This was a fresh purchased Confederate used carried North Carolina Mfg. CS mfg. musket from a North Carolina family member .   Condition report :  A few minor hairline cracks in stock & missing its rear sight that is a very common for these rifles otherwise 100% complete . Seldom do you find these with all original sling swivels and original ramrod but this one has got it . You also want to see the Confederate rifle stock inspectors proof on these guns and this one is classic JB in a oval as pictures also show. The brass has not uncleaned patina with the butt plate having the classic C.S.A. . Lock plate has the Fayetteville Name and CSA also dated 1863. This gun was more than likely mfg real late 1863 when the bayonet lug was done away with and socket bayonets were used because of mfg. cost  . The stock on this gun has several of its original owners "F.A.L"  " DHL cut into stock . Often when one soldier was killed the arms would be carried on by another Confederate soldier.  The family member I purchased this from was unsure who in the family might have carried it .   .... SOLD..SOLD..SOLD
