Original pencil sketch from the estate of Capt. Fowle 43rd Co. C Mass.Vol. Militia.  This is a Civil War period drawn sketch drawn in 1862  and signed by Sgt.J.McCallum Co. C 43rd. MVM . This sketch Illustrates a house used as the barracks on Front St.. The sketch depicks Capt. Fowle standing out in front with his men lined up in front of him .Title reads "Barracks Co.C 43rd regt. M.V.M Beaufort, N.C. This sketch along with another is being offered for sale on our Website . Both sketches came direct from Capt. Fowles families estate. This sketch measures 7 1/2 x 4 1/2  with outside period walnut frame measurement 15 1/2 x 13 1/2 . See Capt. Here is a fantastic Civil War period Pencil,Pen & Ink original artwork drawn by Sgt. J. McCallum iin the 43rd Mass Vol. Inf. Co. C. This art work was drawn in Beaufort , NC in Dec. 20, 1862 and so dated . This sketch was purchased from the estate of a 43rd Mass Capt that served and was stationed in Beaufort , NC during the Civil War. Capt. W.B.Fowle Co. C 43rd Mass . This original pencil sketch is framed in a Civil War period walnut frame that measures approx 12 x 14 with the artwork measuring 8 x 10 inches.

Here is a nice condition Regimental history hardbound with 459 pages . The title of this book is "The 34th In The War Of the Rebellion"  34th Mass Vol. Militia  dated 1879.

This is a fine condition book written and published by the grandson of A. Piatt Andrew III . Title "Some Civil War Letters of A. Piatt Andrew " 21st Indiana  Artillery Battery published in 1925 . Hardbound with 146 pages . This book listed for around $200.00 and considered rather uncommon .  

WOW..How many chances do you have to own a Civil War Generals Ided Artillery manual . This manual is Ided and period written on the flyleaf  "Brig. General. Getty US Vols ". This manual is signed by the general as it matches up with his autograph samples..A great manual titled "Instruction For Heavy artillery Prepared By A Board Of Officers For The Use Of The Army Of The United States . 1862  complete with several Illustrated plates. Nice condition  

Here is a rather scarce 1862 Dated Heavy Artillery Manual for the use of Volunteers dated 1862 . 72 pages with several Illustrated plates . Cool ided tag on the front that reads Fort Greble. Our research shows it was located at Dutch sland , Rhode Island during the war years . This copy was kept at the fort based on how the old tags reads . Very scarce manual
